O-Nao KATSUSHIKA
O-Nao Katsushika was a blind child who was born into a family of artists. Her father, Katsushika Hokusai, was one of the most famous artists in Japan. O-Nao was a very talented artist herself, but she was never able to see her own work. She would often sit by her father's side and watch him paint, and she would try to copy what he did. O-Nao's father was very supportive of her, and he encouraged her to keep painting. He knew that she had a gift, and he wanted her to share it with the world.
O-Nao's father died when she was still a young girl, and she was left to care for her mother and her younger siblings. She continued to paint, and she eventually became a successful artist in her own right. Her work was often praised for its beauty and its emotional depth. O-Nao's paintings often depicted the everyday life of the people around her, and she had a gift for capturing the beauty of the ordinary.
O-Nao Katsushika was a remarkable woman who overcame her disability to become a successful artist. Her work is a testament to her talent and her determination.
